About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Writer to join Wyetech, LLC, where you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for software products, services, and processes. This role involves breaking down complex information into user-friendly content and requires strong writing skills and a solid understanding of technical concepts.

Key Responsibilities

→Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering
→Write and edit technical documentation for hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and how-to guides
→Create code documentation, implementation guides, and end-user guides
→Produce field, data definition, and data flow documentation
→Format technical publications from various resources
→Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials
→Coordinate layout and design of documents
→Research technical subject matter and organize information from multiple sources
→Produce defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, and training manuals
→Interpret engineering and maintenance drawings
→Apply technical manual standards to work products

Requirements

✓United States Citizenship and appropriate security clearance (TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly)
✓Six years of experience as a Technical Writer in similar programs and contracts
✓Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
✓Familiarity with Linux CLI and technical writing tools (MS Office, MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker)
✓Experience with Markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown)
✓Experience using Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and Git Source Control System
