About the Role We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio / ETL Developer to join an Agile team focused on building healthcare applications and implementing new features. This role requires adherence to best coding development standards and involves supporting enterprise healthcare data integration, warehousing, and reporting initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL and data integration solutions • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects • Create and maintain Unix shell scripts to automate data processing and operational workflows • Build and support Ab Initio data pipelines and ETL processes • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities • Troubleshoot production issues across SQL, ETL, and Unix environments • Collaborate with business, analytics, QA, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions • Support end-to-end SDLC activities including requirements, development, testing, deployment, and production support • Utilize enterprise scheduling tools such as Control-M for workflow management • Follow source control and CI/CD best practices using GitLab and Jenkins • Ensure adherence to healthcare data security and compliance standards Requirements • Strong expertise in SQL development, Unix Shell Scripting, and Ab Initio ETL development • Advanced SQL development skills including complex query design and optimization • Experience with stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers • Knowledge of Common Table Expressions (CTEs) and complex multi-table joins • Query performance tuning and troubleshooting abilities • Data validation and reconciliation skills • Shell scripting for automation and operational support • Batch processing and file handling experience • Job monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities • Scheduling and workflow automation skills • Environment and process management knowledge • ETL design and development using Ab Initio • Graph development and optimization experience • Data transformation and integration skills • Performance tuning of ETL processes • Production support and troubleshooting abilities
