About the Role We are seeking an experienced Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID Engineer to join the City and County of San Francisco – Department of Technology. This role requires 5+ years of experience and involves working with critical identity management systems. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID infrastructure • Implement and manage AD Migration, Domain/Forest Consolidation, and Group Policies • Configure and maintain Hybrid Identity solutions and Entra Connect • Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication, Conditional Access, Single Sign-On, and Identity Security • Develop and troubleshoot PowerShell automation scripts Requirements • 5+ years of experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID • Strong knowledge of AD Migration, Domain/Forest Consolidation, and GPOs • Experience with Hybrid Identity and Entra Connect • Proficiency in MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, and Identity Security • Advanced PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills Candidates willing to work onsite in San Francisco when required are preferred.
