About the Role We are seeking an experienced AI Development Lead / Agentic AI Engineer to focus on AI-Driven Application Modernization. This role requires hands-on engineering with expertise in Claude Code, Java, and AI Agent Development. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and refine AI agents using Claude Code to automate legacy application modernization • Automate Java/JDK upgrades, dependency updates, and Linux platform migrations • Develop agents to analyze legacy applications, generate technical specifications, and execute modernization tasks • Modernize legacy authentication systems through Okta integration • Evaluate downstream dependencies and system-wide impacts before implementing changes • Build AI-driven solutions to remediate security vulnerabilities • Target 90% automation of modernization work, with human validation for the remaining 10% • Troubleshoot complex enterprise systems and ensure production stability Requirements • Hands-on Agentic AI Engineer, not just a traditional Java developer • Strong enterprise systems thinking and architectural expertise • Proven experience with complex application modernization • Experience resolving critical P1 production incidents • Ability to build automated fixes, not just identify vulnerabilities
