About the Role We are looking for an AI-Native Staff Engineer to join our team at Cotiviti. This role focuses on building production-grade software using AI-native development workflows. Key Responsibilities • Build and deliver production-grade software using AI-native development workflows • Leverage Claude / Copilot for code generation, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation • Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure security, quality, performance, and maintainability • Develop scalable Java backend services, APIs, and application components • Design and optimize Oracle/PostgreSQL databases • Guide a small engineering team and collaborate with AI-Native Technical Architects Requirements • Strong hands-on experience in Java Development • Claude AI / GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI coding tools – Mandatory • Strong Oracle / PostgreSQL Database Design experience • REST APIs, Microservices & Backend Development • Full-Stack Application Development • AI-Assisted Code Generation, Debugging & Refactoring • Code Reviews, Automated Testing & Production Readiness • Software Architecture, Scalability, Security & Performance Optimization • Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
