About the Role We are looking for an AI Platform Engineer passionate about Azure cloud technologies, platform engineering, and AI innovation that enables AI teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions. Key Responsibilities • Configure, develop, and manage Azure AI platform components covering data services, security, cost optimization, and monitoring. • Build reusable infrastructure modules, deployment templates, and reference solutions to AI development. • Manage the complete lifecycle of platform components, from implementation and deployment to maintenance and continuous improvement. • Implement controlled production releases and provide operational support to ensure platform stability and reliability. • Establish software engineering best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and infrastructure automation. • Document platform architecture, configurations, operational procedures, and technical standards. • Collaborate with AI product teams and the wider IT organization to ensure seamless platform integration. • Provide technical guidance to engineering teams and junior engineers while sharing knowledge and best practices. Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Azure platform engineering and AI infrastructure. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and/or Terraform. • Knowledge of Azure AI Technologies including Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI. • Familiarity with Containers & Orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Apps. • Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure including Azure networking, identity management, security, and monitoring. • Experience with DevOps & CI/CD including automated deployments, version control, code reviews, and production release management. • Platform Engineering skills including reusable templates, infrastructure modules, and lifecycle management.
