About the Role We are looking for an experienced Apache Flink Developer to join our team, focusing on real-time data engineering and stream processing using the Confluent Platform. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop real-time streaming pipelines using Apache Flink and Confluent Platform • Implement complex streaming transformations using Flink SQL and Java • Build scalable, event-driven data architectures using Apache Kafka • Optimize SQL queries, joins, aggregations, and window functions for performance • Work with Schema Registry, Avro/Protobuf, and Change Data Capture (CDC) • Ensure data quality, fault tolerance, reliability, and low-latency processing • Support cloud-native deployments and containerized streaming applications Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Flink and Flink SQL • Expertise in Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform • Excellent SQL skills, including complex joins and window functions • Strong Java programming and stream processing fundamentals • Experience with Schema Registry, Avro/Protobuf, and CDC • Deep understanding of real-time data engineering and event-driven architectures • Cloud-native and container platform experience is a plus
