About the Role We are looking for an experienced Apigee Lead Developer to lead API management and integration initiatives, with a primary focus on migrating Apigee Edge to Apigee X. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement API management solutions using Apigee • Lead migration initiatives from Apigee Edge to Apigee X • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements • Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability • Implement API security standards and best practices • Maintain API documentation and technical specifications • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers • Ensure adherence to coding standards and industry best practices Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Apigee API Management • Proven experience migrating from Apigee Edge to Apigee X • Expertise in API design, development, and integration • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs • Proficiency in Java, Node.js, or Python • Knowledge of API security protocols and standards • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS • API testing tools and frameworks • Microservices architecture • Docker and Kubernetes • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Agile methodologies and project management tools
