About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Apigee Lead Developer to join our team. This role focuses on API management and integration, with a strong emphasis on Apigee products. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement API management strategies using Apigee, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Lead the migration process from Apigee Edge to Apigee X, ensuring minimal disruption to existing services. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Develop and maintain API documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders. • Monitor API performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API management and integration technologies. • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Requirements • Expertise in Apigee, with a strong understanding of its features and functionalities. • Proven experience in designing and implementing API management strategies. • Hands-on experience with the migration process from Apigee Edge to Apigee X. • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and best practices. • Proficiency in backend development languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python. • Experience with API security protocols and standards. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Relevant certifications in API management or cloud technologies are a plus. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
