About the Role We are looking for an AWS Databricks Platform Administrator to join our team for a 6-month contract. This role requires extensive experience in managing enterprise-scale Databricks environments and AWS services. Key Responsibilities • Administer AWS Databricks platform with focus on Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, SQL Warehouses, Clusters, and Workspace Management • Manage AWS services including S3, IAM, VPC, PrivateLink, KMS, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail • Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Python, Shell Scripting, and CI/CD • Utilize Databricks CLI, REST APIs, and Databricks Asset Bundles for platform management • Ensure Security, Data Governance, FinOps, and Performance Optimization • Provide Production Support and manage Linux, Apache Spark, and Networking Requirements • 12+ years of overall IT experience • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Databricks administration • Strong experience managing enterprise-scale Databricks environments • Must be local to Raritan, NJ, or the surrounding area and available to work onsite • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship • Background check, drug screening, and identity verification are mandatory
