About the Role We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Platform Engineer for a temporary contract position in Downtown Houston. This role requires extensive experience in AWS DevOps and platform engineering, with a focus on infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Support AWS infrastructure and platform engineering with 15+ years of experience • Implement and manage Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD • Manage Kubernetes and containerized environments • Troubleshoot production issues and respond to incidents • Automate security and compliance controls within Terraform and CI/CD pipelines • Support multi-account AWS environments Requirements • 15+ years of AWS DevOps/Platform Engineering experience • 5+ years of Terraform or CloudFormation experience • 5+ years of CI/CD experience with various tools • 5+ years of GitHub and/or GitLab experience • 5+ years supporting Kubernetes and containerized environments • Strong Python, Bash, and/or Shell scripting skills • 5+ years of Linux/Unix experience • Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, IAM, and cloud architecture • AWS certification, particularly an architecture-focused certification preferred • Experience with AI, Data Science, or data engineering platforms preferred The position is 100% onsite in Downtown Houston, with occasional travel to the West Houston office.
