About the Role We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a 6-month contract position that can be extended. This role requires hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and data engineering concepts. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines • Work with dimensional and data warehouse concepts • Manage data loading, transformations, and query tuning in Snowflake • Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and triggers • Utilize Azure Databricks and PySpark for data processing • Ensure secure cloud data practices and version control Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or cloud data-platform development • Strong experience with ETL/ELT and data warehouse concepts • Proficiency with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks • Practical experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, and Delta Lake • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python • Understanding of Git, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and secure cloud data practices • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills Benefits • Remote work opportunity • Potential for contract extension
