About the Role We are looking for an experienced Azure Fabric and Databricks Architect to join our team for a 6–8 month contract. This role involves designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms with a focus on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks. Key Responsibilities • Design end-to-end data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks • Architect real-time streaming and batch data pipelines • Build and optimize Fabric Lakehouses, Data Factory, and Databricks Delta Live Tables (DLT) • Implement Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and Unity Catalog governance • Optimize Delta Lake storage and cross-platform shortcuts • Integrate data platforms with Power BI Direct Lake mode • Develop pipelines, write code, and troubleshoot complex technical challenges • Mentor engineering teams and enforce data architecture best practices Requirements • 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms • Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, and Power BI integration • Hands-on technical leadership experience • Experience with Delta Live Tables, Medallion Architecture, Unity Catalog, and Data Governance • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Real-Time Streaming, and Batch Processing • Strong background in Power BI Direct Lake and Solution Architecture
