About the Role We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our TechOps team. This is a 6-month contract position requiring 9-10 years of experience. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement backend systems using PostgreSQL and Python • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis • Manage AWS services including RDS, Lambda, EC2, and S3 • Develop and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs for scheduling • Work with legacy Java applications • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or AWS CodePipeline Requirements • Strong SQL and PL/pgSQL skills with PostgreSQL • Extensive experience in backend development and automation with Python • Experience with production troubleshooting, debugging, and incident resolution • Proficiency with AWS services (RDS, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM) • Experience with Apache Airflow for DAGs, scheduling, and troubleshooting • Experience working with legacy Java applications Benefits • Opportunity to work with a variety of technologies and cloud services
