About the Role We are seeking a Business Analyst with extensive experience in the US healthcare domain. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare processes, regulations, and systems to support business requirements and process improvements. Key Responsibilities • Gather requirements and create BRD/FRD, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Apply strong knowledge of US healthcare domains including Providers, Payers, RCM, Claims, and Billing • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, CMS guidelines, and healthcare regulations • Utilize knowledge of HL7, FHIR, EDI X12 (837, 835, 270/271, 278), and EHR/EMR systems • Work with Agile/Scrum methodologies using JIRA, Confluence, and manage UAT processes • Apply SQL skills, gap analysis, process modeling, and root-cause analysis • Identify product enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements Requirements • 7–10 years of experience (minimum 5 years in Healthcare) • Deep understanding of US healthcare systems and processes • Experience with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements • Proficiency with healthcare data standards and systems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools • Working knowledge of SQL and process improvement methodologies
