About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with experience in data analytics, DataSphere, and SQL to support business reporting, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze data, validate reports, and deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders • Use SQL to extract, transform, validate, and analyze data from relational databases • Work with SAP Datasphere (DataSphere) to understand data models, data integration, and analytical datasets • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and business opportunities • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics using reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to define data requirements and resolve data-related issues • Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test-case preparation, defect tracking, and sign-off • Translate business needs into technical specifications and communicate findings to stakeholders Requirements • Strong SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions • Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration • Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management • Knowledge of data quality, data reconciliation, and reporting • Proficiency in Excel and at least one BI tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics Cloud • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
