About the Role
We are looking for a Business Analyst to support an HR Workflow Automation modernization initiative with the Florida Department.
Key Responsibilities
• Support HR workflow automation involving position descriptions, classification actions, pay actions, onboarding/offboarding, vacancy authorizations, requirements analysis, release planning, and quality assurance.
• Lead UAT, develop QA test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Analyze data, integration requirements, and impact assessment.
Requirements
• 6+ years of Business Analysis, Requirements Engineering, and QA documentation experience.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps, user stories, backlog management, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with HR business processes, workflow automation, or government administrative applications.
• Business process analysis, As-Is/To-Be workflows, functional specifications, and process mapping.
• Data analysis, integration requirements, impact assessment, and relational database concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent qualifying experience.
