About the Role We are looking for a C++ Developer to join our team for a long-term contract position. This role requires extensive experience in the media domain and focuses on developing media pipelines and video streaming technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain C++ applications for media pipeline development • Implement video streaming technologies including DASH, HLS, and Progressive Download • Work with Digital Rights Management (DRM) technologies such as Widevine, PlayReady, and FairPlay • Handle audio/video formats including H.264, HEVC, MP4, CMAF, MPEG-2 TS, HDR, and Dolby Vision • Utilize media frameworks like GStreamer and FFmpeg • Implement multithreading and Inter-Process Communication (IPC) • Participate in architecture, design, prototyping, code reviews, and unit testing Requirements • 10+ years of experience in C/C++11 • Strong experience in JavaScript and JSON • Media domain experience is mandatory • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field • Strong communication, problem-solving, and ownership skills
