About the Role We are seeking a C# .NET & Angular Solution Architect for a 2-year long-term contract in the scientific research industry. This role requires expertise in both backend and frontend technologies to design and implement high-performance, multi-tier applications. Key Responsibilities • Work within an agile development team to define product scope and ensure alignment with business goals • Serve as Solution Architect, accountable for technical design and communicating technical information to non-technical stakeholders • Establish and maintain application-level architecture, organize development work, and ensure code quality standards • Conduct code reviews and act as the gatekeeper for the code base • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and test analysts Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience • Over five years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications • Strong proficiency in software development processes, engineering design principles, and cross-functional collaboration • Expertise in designing systems using complex relational databases and translating business processes into system and data models • Strong API design skills and understanding of modern security standards • Proficiency in C#.NET, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, and REST API development • Experience testing APIs and writing integration test scripts • Front-end skills in Angular 16+ and RX JS • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies • Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines within Azure
