About the Role We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, production-ready cloud solutions using AWS, Databricks, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities • Design data lifecycle architecture for ingestion, storage, versioning, retention, and governance • Deploy and integrate Databricks and AWS services across cloud environments • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated release processes • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools • Develop Python and SQL-based data pipelines and scheduled jobs • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and cloud cost optimisation • Ensure security, access control, and data protection best practices • Document architecture decisions, deployment processes, and operational runbooks Requirements • Strong experience in AWS, Databricks, DevOps, and data engineering • AWS: IAM, S3, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, or Step Functions • Databricks: Workspaces, Jobs/Workflows, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake • DevOps & CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI • Programming: Python and SQL • Containers: Docker • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK • Data engineering, pipeline design, and data quality Ideal Candidate • Hands-on problem solver with strong implementation experience • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and take ownership • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Candidates with GitHub profiles, portfolios, or real-world project examples are encouraged to apply
