About the Role We are looking for a Cloud Migration Developer to join our team. This role focuses on migrating on-prem applications from VMware to Azure AKS and automating deployments. Key Responsibilities • Migrate on-prem applications from VMware to Azure AKS • Automate deployments • Ensure reliable production cutovers • Develop strong CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps • Containerize and re-platform applications using Docker and Kubernetes Requirements • 10+ years of experience • 8+ years of Software/Platform Engineering experience • 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes production experience, preferably Azure AKS • Experience with VMware-to-Azure migration or legacy application modernization • Strong CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps • Experience containerizing and re-platforming applications using Docker and Kubernetes • Ability to read and modify code in Ruby on Rails, .NET, Python, and/or Elixir — strong depth in at least one • Solid knowledge of Azure networking, identity, Key Vault, and managed databases • Experience with application dependency assessment, configuration/secrets management, cutover, rollback, and post-deployment validation • Strong troubleshooting across application, container, and network layers
