About the Role We are seeking a Cloud Security & Data Governance Automation Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on implementing security measures and automating data governance processes in cloud environments. Key Responsibilities • Implement and manage security measures in Google Cloud Platform • Develop and maintain data governance policies using BigQuery • Automate security processes using Python or Go • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices • Conduct shadow audits and manage zero-downtime migrations Requirements • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery • Expertise in BigQuery Policy Tags and column-level security • Hands-on experience with IAM Tags and Data Governance • Strong knowledge of CEL (Common Expression Language) • Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and API integrations • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and regression testing • Proven experience in zero-downtime migrations, shadow audits, and phased cutovers
