About the Role We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to support a large-scale on-premises to AWS cloud migration initiative. Key Responsibilities • Conduct security assessments of applications and infrastructure migrating to AWS • Review IAM, RBAC, privileged access, authentication, and authorization controls • Assess cloud networking, firewalls, security groups, and network segmentation • Evaluate vulnerability management, patching, OS hardening, encryption, and security monitoring • Enhance Terraform modules, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and reusable cloud security controls • Collaborate with application, cloud engineering, network, and cybersecurity teams • Identify security risks and drive remediation plans • Align cloud security practices with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and organizational security standards Requirements • 5+ years of overall IT/Security experience • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Security and cloud migration projects • Strong knowledge of IAM, RBAC, and privileged access management • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code • Knowledge of cloud networking, firewalls, and security configurations • Experience with vulnerability management, SIEM, logging, and threat detection • Understanding of cloud governance, risk management, and compliance • AWS/cloud certifications and security certifications such as CISSP or GIAC are preferred
