About the Role Cloud Pivot Technologies is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to enhance security across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid environments. This role requires hands-on expertise in cloud security architecture, identity and access management, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security compliance. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments • Manage IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, and Conditional Access • Conduct cloud security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses • Monitor security threats and support incident response and remediation • Implement Zero Trust security principles and cloud security best practices • Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams to implement DevSecOps practices • Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and governance requirements • Evaluate and implement cloud security tools to enhance threat visibility and protection Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, including 3+ years in Cloud Security • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams • Experience with Microsoft Azure Security and/or AWS Security • Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID, IAM, MFA, and Conditional Access • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel or equivalent SIEM tools • Knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Incident Response • Understanding of Security Monitoring, Risk Assessment, and Compliance • Scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
