About the Role We are looking for an experienced COBOL Developer / Technical Lead to support and enhance a mission-critical Phoenix core business system. Key Responsibilities • Support and enhance a mission-critical Phoenix core business system • Develop and maintain complex applications in a Windows-based client-server environment • Lead technical software development teams • Provide Level 3 (L3) production support • Collaborate with business units and lead solution delivery Requirements • Years of experience with Visual COBOL and Micro Focus COBOL • Working knowledge of Visual COBOL V9 • Years developing and maintaining complex applications in a Windows-based client-server environment • Years of COBOL development and testing with Oracle SQL • Years of experience leading technical software development teams • Years of Level 3 (L3) production support • Strong experience in business and technical specifications, system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation Preferred Skills • Oracle 19+ SQL • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET / C# • Government agency experience • Visual COBOL technical certification
