About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer – COBOL/Mainframe to support banking technology initiatives, with a strong focus on credit card application development, processing, and production support. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain Mainframe applications • Review functional specifications and technical designs • Perform coding, debugging, and unit testing • Participate in architecture and code reviews • Support production systems and troubleshoot application issues • Maintain technical documentation and follow SDLC standards • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions Requirements • 5+ years of recent hands-on Mainframe Development experience • Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 • 1–2+ years of recent banking industry experience • 3–5+ years of credit card processing and application development experience • Strong understanding of SDLC, coding, debugging, testing, and production support • Experience must meet the specified recency requirements
