About the Role We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and lead the implementation of Dagster across a global data platform. This role involves driving Dagster adoption and mentoring engineers on data orchestration practices. Key Responsibilities • Lead the implementation and integration of Dagster across a global data platform • Drive Dagster rollout and adoption across the Battery Materials business • Contribute to solution design and technical implementation decisions • Guide and mentor approximately 7 engineers on data orchestration and engineering best practices • Design and build scalable data orchestration solutions • Collaborate with Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers and Architects • Ensure seamless integration with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem • Promote engineering standards, governance and platform excellence Requirements • Strong hands-on experience implementing Dagster • Expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS) • Experience with Kubernetes/AKS • Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Proficiency in Python and data engineering/orchestration • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms Ideal Candidate A hands-on technical leader who can bridge architecture, solution design and implementation while guiding engineers and driving Dagster adoption in a cloud-native Azure environment.
