About the Role We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our retail industry team. This role involves analyzing large datasets and supporting data pipelines to deliver actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities • Analyze large retail datasets across sales, inventory, pricing, promotions and customer behavior • Support data pipelines • Deliver actionable business insights Requirements • Strong hands-on Python experience for data processing, transformation, automation and analysis • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, aggregations and data validation • Solid understanding of Data Lake architecture, ingestion, storage and processing workflows • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration and transformation • Experience with Azure or GCP data services • Understanding of or experience with Databricks and distributed data processing • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing and Lakehouse architecture • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Excel for reporting • Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder communication skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field Preferred Experience • Retail or e-commerce datasets • Azure Data Lake Storage • Azure Data Factory • Google Cloud Storage • PySpark • Spark • Delta Lake • Medallion architecture
