About the Role We are seeking a Data Architect to join our team for a 16-week contract starting November 1, 2026. This role requires expertise in AWS Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake, with a focus on healthcare domain knowledge. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement data architectures using Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture • Lead data modernization projects from ETL tools to Databricks • Develop metadata-driven frameworks and implement data governance • Create data models and ensure data quality standards • Manage Unity Catalog and data lineage Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Architecture • 3+ years as a Lead or Senior Data Architect • Strong background in Data Modeling and Architecture Design • Cloud Modernization and Databricks Migration Experience • Expertise in Medicaid / MMIS and T-MSIS • Knowledge of CMS Reporting & Compliance • Experience with Claims & Encounter Processing • Understanding of PHI & Healthcare Data Governance • Proficiency with Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 • Experience with ETL tools like DataStage, SSIS, and Informatica
