About the Role We are seeking an experienced Databricks Architect to design and lead the implementation of a modern, enterprise-grade data platform built on the Databricks Lakehouse architecture. This role focuses on establishing architectural standards, defining governance frameworks, and driving strategic decisions that enable scalable, secure, and high-performance analytics across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design and lead implementation of a modern data platform using Databricks Lakehouse architecture • Establish architectural standards and governance frameworks • Drive strategic decisions for scalable, secure, and high-performance analytics • Lead code reviews and ensure quality of production PySpark and SQL code • Optimize query performance and troubleshoot production issues Requirements • Current, hands-on development experience with PySpark and SQL • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or platform engineering roles • Expert-level knowledge of Databricks platform components • Deep expertise in Unity Catalog governance • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
