About the Role We are seeking a Data Architect to design and maintain our Snowflake data warehouse architecture. This role requires extensive experience in mortgage and capital markets domains. Key Responsibilities • Own end-to-end Snowflake data warehouse architecture, security, and cost optimization • Design mortgage servicing, MSR, loan, securitization, and capital markets data models • Build ingestion pipelines and dbt transformation workflows • Develop Sigma workbooks, dashboards, and self-service analytics • Implement data quality, reconciliation, governance, and regulatory controls • Collaborate with finance, capital markets, portfolio analytics, and operations teams • Mentor data engineers and establish architecture standards Requirements • 10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Architecture • 4+ years designing production Snowflake platforms • 3+ years of hands-on dbt production experience • Hands-on Sigma Computing experience with Snowflake • Heavy Mortgage & Capital Markets domain experience — mandatory • Strong SQL, Python, and advanced data modeling skills • Experience with financial data reconciliation and data quality controls • Azure preferred; AWS also acceptable Important Note: Candidates must have substantial hands-on experience in both Mortgage and Capital Markets. Profiles without this domain expertise will not be considered.
