About the Role We are seeking a Data Engineer for a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Dublin, CA. This role requires local candidates who can work 3 days onsite per week. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement solutions within Snowflake • Troubleshoot Snowflake and data platform issues • Perform performance investigation and root-cause analysis • Resolve production issues and provide L2/L3 support • Develop automation and prototypes using Python • Query development and troubleshooting using SQL Requirements • 7+ years of overall IT experience • 5+ years working with data platforms, particularly Snowflake • Strong hands-on experience with modern data platforms and Snowflake • Strong Azure experience and understanding of data engineering solutions within the Azure ecosystem • Strong hands-on Python development skills • Strong SQL skills for query development, troubleshooting, and diagnostics • Experience with warehouse sizing and performance optimization
