About the Role We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Hyperion Essbase/EPM architecture to support legacy financial model analysis, logic reverse-engineering, and automated data and metadata extraction. Key Responsibilities • Strong expertise in Hyperion Essbase/EPM architecture • Hands-on experience with Calculation Scripts (.csc), Business Rules, MaxL scripts, MDX queries, and member formulas • In-depth understanding of dense/sparse dimension settings and dynamic calculation logic • Ability to reverse-engineer legacy financial models, including dynamic aggregations, currency conversions, and complex allocations • Experience automating metadata and data extraction from Essbase/EPM using MaxL, CLI, Python, or REST APIs Requirements • Understanding of multidimensional MOLAP concepts, including hierarchies, parent-child rollups, and dynamic calculations • Experience translating Essbase/EPM logic into relational or star-schema structures in cloud data warehouses such as Google BigQuery
