About the Role We are looking for a Data Engineer / Power BI Developer to join a data-driven initiative supporting the development of the FOCUS data lakehouse for the Antwerp Police Zone. You will build reliable data pipelines, develop data models and transform complex datasets into meaningful insights through Power BI dashboards and reports. Key Responsibilities • Develop, migrate and maintain data pipelines and transformations • Build SQL- and Python-based data processing solutions • Design data warehouse structures and data models • Work with modern data platforms and lakehouse technologies • Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, dashboards and reports • Translate business requirements into KPIs and actionable insights • Optimise data quality, scalability and reporting performance • Implement data governance and access management • Collaborate with data engineers, architects and business stakeholders Requirements • Bachelors or Masters degree • Proven experience as a BI Consultant or Data Engineer • Strong Power BI and reporting expertise • Experience with SQL, Python and ETL processes • Knowledge of data modelling methodologies • Experience in requirements analysis and data management • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Dutch proficiency at CEFR C2 level
