About the Role Pronect Services is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a 6-month remote contract position. The role involves working on client projects with a focus on SQL Server, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and data quality. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or Python • Design and implement data models for integration, cleansing, and validation • Troubleshoot complex data issues and collaborate with BI analysts and developers • Ensure data governance, source-to-target mapping, and secure data handling • Integrate data from various sources including SQL databases, ERP systems, spreadsheets, and legacy systems Requirements • 6–8 years of experience in data engineering • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, advanced SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization • Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development • Data modeling, integration, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and deduplication skills • Ability to work across different time zones, with US Pacific Time overlap Benefits • Opportunity to work on exciting client projects • Flexible remote work arrangement
