About the Role We are seeking a Data Engineer for a 12-month contract position. This role requires extensive experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines • Implement data integration solutions and APIs • Optimize scalable, reliable data pipelines • Collaborate with stakeholders on data architecture Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering • Strong hands-on skills with Python, SQL, and/or Java • Experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks • Expertise in ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and APIs • Strong knowledge of data architecture, warehousing, and system design • Mortgage/lending or financial services experience preferred • Leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills
