About the Role We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on building scalable data platforms, optimizing data pipelines, and leading high-impact engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design and architect data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Medallion Architecture • Lead end-to-end data engineering initiatives and provide technical leadership • Build, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark and SQL • Develop real-time and streaming solutions using Structured Streaming and/or Delta Live Tables • Improve platform performance, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud cost efficiency • Establish data governance, engineering standards, and best practices • Mentor engineers and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders Requirements • 8+ years of Data Engineering experience • 5+ years of hands-on Databricks experience in production environments • Strong expertise in PySpark and SQL • Experience with Unity Catalog, Terraform and/or Databricks Asset Bundles • Experience with at least one major cloud platform • Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience • Strong communication skills and Agile/Scrum experience
