About the Role We are seeking a Data Governance Engineer to join an Agile team focused on data governance workflows, data contracts, data products, RACI, and ontology. This role requires translating business needs into actionable data management outcomes and driving cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Work on data governance workflows, data contracts, data products, RACI, and ontology • Clarify requirements and guide non-technical stakeholders by translating business needs into actionable data management outcomes • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Business, IT, Compliance, and Data Owners within a complex matrix environment • Assess and strengthen foundational practices in Data Quality, Data Stewardship, and Metadata Management • Support validation and assessment activities through basic data querying and profiling Requirements • 5+ years of experience with Open Metadata tool, especially Collate • Technically strong with Open Metadata tool and has done multiple customer implementations • Detailed work experience on data governance workflows, data contracts, data products, RACI, and ontology • Good communication skills and ability to provide a 4-hour overlap with EST timings • Knowledge of Agile Methodology
