About the Role We are seeking a Data Scientist for a 12+ month contract position in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. This role requires a strong background in enterprise data governance and modern data architecture. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement enterprise data governance strategies • Manage data lineage and business rules • Design and implement modern data architecture solutions • Utilize Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks for data processing • Ensure data quality and adherence to enterprise data standards • Manage metadata and documentation • Collaborate with stakeholders on data requirements Requirements • 3+ years of experience in enterprise data governance, data lineage, and business rules • Strong expertise in enterprise data strategy and modern data architecture • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks • Experience in metadata management, data quality, and enterprise data standards • Strong data engineering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills • Must currently reside in the Triangle region • Available for occasional onsite visits • No H-1B or Green Card sponsorship available
