About the Role We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on database modernization, migration, and engineering. Key Responsibilities • Perform SQL Server assessment and database modernization • Handle PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora migration • Implement transactional database engineering and data modeling • Develop domain-oriented architecture, API-based data access, and event-driven integration • Establish data contracts and separation of transactional, integration, and analytical data Requirements • Strong expertise in SQL Server and PostgreSQL • Experience with Amazon Aurora migration • Knowledge of transactional database engineering and data modeling • Understanding of domain-oriented architecture, API-based data access, and event-driven integration • Familiarity with CI/CD, Terraform, Database DevOps, automated schema validation, and controlled releases • Experience in energy, trading, retail, financial services, or other regulated, data-intensive industries is a plus.
