About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Databricks Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Azure and/or AWS Databricks administration to manage, secure, monitor, and support enterprise Databricks environments. Key Responsibilities • Administer and maintain enterprise Databricks environments across Azure/AWS • Manage workspaces, clusters, cluster policies, jobs, pools, libraries, and permissions • Implement Unity Catalog, access controls, and governance policies • Manage identity, authentication, authorization, RBAC, IAM, service principals, and managed identities • Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking, private connectivity, security groups, VNets/VPCs, and endpoints • Monitor Databricks platform performance, availability, utilization, and costs • Support production incidents, troubleshooting, upgrades, and platform maintenance • Automate infrastructure and platform configurations using Terraform/IaC • Integrate Databricks with cloud storage, Key Vault/Secrets Manager, monitoring, and other cloud services • Partner with Data Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, and Security teams Requirements • 10+ years of experience in Databricks administration • Strong hands-on expertise in Azure and/or AWS Databricks • Experience with Unity Catalog and data governance • Knowledge of cluster and job management • Familiarity with IAM, RBAC, and access management • Experience with Azure AD/Entra ID or AWS IAM • Understanding of cloud networking and security • Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code • Skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support
