About the Role We are seeking a Databricks Platform Automation Engineer to design, implement, and support Databricks platform capabilities. This role involves developing automation for workspace lifecycle management and supporting the deployment of Databricks workloads. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Databricks platform capabilities including workspace provisioning, RBAC, and access management • Develop automation for workspace lifecycle management, user onboarding, and environment configuration • Support deployment and operationalization of Databricks workloads including Genie Agents, workflows, jobs, and data products • Partner with cloud, security, and data engineering teams to establish scalable, secure, and governed platform standards Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks Platform Administration and Automation • Strong skills in Databricks Administration & Platform Engineering • Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code • Knowledge of Unity Catalog & Data Governance • Familiarity with RBAC, IAM, SCIM, Service Principals • Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles (DAB) • Experience with Genie Agent Deployment & Automation • Proficiency in CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub • Experience with AWS or Azure Cloud • Python/Scripting & Platform Automation Experience
