About the Role We are looking for a dbt Analytics Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on transforming complex legacy data into reliable, scalable, business-ready analytical models. Key Responsibilities • Transform complex legacy data into reliable, scalable, business-ready analytical models • Design and implement dbt models using Core or Cloud • Apply advanced SQL for query optimization and performance tuning • Implement Kimball Dimensional Modeling including star schema, fact and dimension tables • Work with Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 & Type 2) • Ensure data quality and maintain data lineage Requirements • 5–7 years of experience in Data Warehousing and Analytics Engineering • Strong expertise in dbt Core / dbt Cloud including models, Jinja, testing, documentation, and incremental models • Advanced SQL skills with query optimization and performance tuning • Kimball Dimensional Modeling expertise including star schema, fact and dimension tables • Experience with SCD Type 1 & Type 2 • Data Quality and Lineage management • Mandatory Certification: Active dbt Analytics Engineering Certification from dbt Labs Good to Have • Experience with ERP, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, or HCM data • Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Deltek, or CMiC
