About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Dynatrace Observability Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise observability solutions using the Dynatrace platform. Key Responsibilities • Design, deploy, configure, and optimize Dynatrace observability solutions. • Implement and manage Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, Smartscape, and Davis AI. • Configure end-to-end application performance monitoring and distributed transaction tracing. • Implement automated application and infrastructure dependency mapping. • Troubleshoot complex performance issues across applications, databases, APIs, and infrastructure. • Configure dashboards, alerts, anomaly detection, and performance analytics using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL). • Implement Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring. • Analyze change impacts, performance degradation, and service dependencies. • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve incident detection and resolution. Requirements • 5+ years of experience in enterprise monitoring, APM, or observability engineering. • 3+ years of hands-on Dynatrace implementation and administration experience. • Strong expertise in Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, Smartscape, and Davis AI. • Experience with distributed tracing and application performance monitoring. • Strong understanding of Windows/Linux infrastructure, APIs, databases, and distributed systems. • Experience with dashboards, alerting, anomaly detection, and DQL. • Knowledge of Real User Monitoring (RUM) and/or Synthetic Monitoring. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
