About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Tampa, FL. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire position focusing on enterprise application development. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Java-based applications • Work with Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot technologies • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Git tools • Integrate with messaging systems like IBM MQ and ActiveMQ • Deploy applications on AWS, OpenShift, and Docker/Kubernetes • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality software Requirements • Strong experience with Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot • Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, and Git • Experience with messaging technologies like IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, and JMS • Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and Apache Tomcat • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and OpenShift • Experience with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL • Recent financial services experience is a must Preferred Skills • Angular, JavaScript, and Node.js • Apache Camel and Spring Integration • Splunk and Dynatrace
