About the Role We are looking for experienced EDI Developers with strong healthcare X12 expertise and hands-on Azure integration skills to support a major Edifecs-to-Azure modernization initiative. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop Azure-based EDI pipelines using Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, and Azure Integration Accounts • Migrate Edifecs-based workflows, X12 mappings, validation rules, and transformations to Azure • Work with healthcare EDI transactions: 834, 278, 270/271, 835, and 837 • Develop custom transformation and validation logic using C#/.NET or Python • Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures, envelope errors, segment issues, and trading-partner compliance • Collaborate with QA teams on automated testing, validation, and legacy-to-cloud parity • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate migration and testing Requirements • 8–10 years of overall relevant experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on healthcare X12 EDI experience • Experience with Edifecs tools such as XEngine, Transaction Manager, or SpecBuilder • Strong knowledge of Azure integration services • Proficiency in C#/.NET or Python • Understanding of HIPAA 5010, companion guides, and healthcare payer transactions • Hands-on exposure to GitHub Copilot or equivalent AI-assisted development tools • Experience with SQL, transaction reconciliation, logging, and troubleshooting
