About the Role We are actively looking for an experienced Edifecs Developer for a remote opportunity with one of our clients. This role requires 7+ years of experience and focuses on healthcare claims processing and EDI transactions. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement solutions using Edifecs Smart Trading Platform • Work with HIPAA X12 837P, 837I, and 837D healthcare claims transactions • Perform EDI mapping, transformation, and routing • Validate data using SNIP Levels 1–7 • Collaborate with trading partners on configurations and workflows Requirements • 7+ years of experience with Edifecs Smart Trading Platform (XEngine, SpecBuilder, Transaction Management) • Extensive experience with HIPAA X12 837P, 837I, and 837D healthcare claims transactions • Experience with SNIP Levels 1–7 validation, EDI mapping, transformation, and routing • Strong understanding of US Healthcare Claims Processing, payer/provider workflows, clearinghouses, adjudication, and remittance • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL) • Hands-on experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, flat-file, and delimited-file formats • Experience with EDI transactions including 999, TA1, 277CA, 835, and 276/277 • Experience with trading partner configurations, companion guides, and HIPAA X12 5010 implementation guides Benefits • Contract-to-hire opportunity with a client company
