About the Role We are seeking an EHR Healthcare System Analyst to join the State of North Carolina team. This role involves supporting Medicaid data exchange services and improving healthcare data quality and interoperability. Key Responsibilities • Support Medicaid data exchange services under the HIE Medicaid Services (HMS) program • Improve Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) data capture and exchange • Support the transition to Digital Quality Measures (dQMs) • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications • Coordinate CCD and ADT data integration and onboarding • Troubleshoot integration issues and support testing and implementation • Improve healthcare data quality, interoperability, and care management data sharing • Collaborate with healthcare providers, vendors, and technical teams Requirements • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare IT, EHR operations, healthcare workflows, and technical support • 3+ years of experience with advanced SQL, relational databases, BI dashboards, and healthcare reporting • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation, and solution design • 3+ years of experience with healthcare data standards, including ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, and HIPAA compliance • Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and clinical data exchange • Experience with CCD (Continuity of Care Document) and ADT (Admission-Discharge-Transfer) integration • Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
