About the Role We are looking for an experienced Embedded Linux Platform Engineer to support the migration and modernization of an existing product across Intel-based embedded systems. Key Responsibilities • Port and migrate embedded Linux software to new Intel-based hardware platforms • Upgrade Ubuntu from 18.04 to 22.04, including kernel, file system, driver, and bootloader updates • Support system bring-up, platform migration, and hardware compatibility • Build and maintain software packaging and production release processes • Implement and support Over-the-Air (OTA) update capabilities using AWS/Amazon tools • Develop test plans and validate embedded systems • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for platform deliverables Requirements • Strong hands-on experience in Embedded Linux development • Linux kernel, device drivers, and bootloader configuration • System bring-up, platform porting, and migration • Ubuntu, Yocto, or similar Linux distributions • Intel/x86 embedded systems • Embedded system testing, validation, and test plan development
