About the Role We are looking for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer for a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Fremont, CA. This role involves developing embedded Linux applications and working with various hardware and software integration tasks. Key Responsibilities • Embedded Linux application development • Firmware and hardware integration • Device-to-cloud connectivity, APIs, and telemetry • Linux debugging, logging, and troubleshooting • Embedded UI and touchscreen interface development Requirements • Strong C++ and Python programming skills • Experience with USB, UART, SPI, and I2C communication protocols • Knowledge of Qt/QML, AWS IoT, Docker, and OTA updates • Experience with device-to-cloud connectivity and APIs • Linux debugging, logging, and troubleshooting skills
